Tough system brings persistent rainfall to St. Lucia

Abundant moisture associated with a trough system currently affecting the island is expected to cause continuous rainfall over the island today. Flood prone areas as well as areas prone to landslides will be most impacted. Loose rocks and debris may be washed onto roadways causing traffic delays. Excess water will affect properties in low lying areas.
